Current Occupation:  Alaska Airlines Captain

Significant Career Experience:  Retired Navy Commander, 21 years career as Navy F-14 Tomcat Pilot, TOPGUN Graduate, Test Pilot, Federal Contracting Officer, Program Manager for Multi-Million Dollar Defense Acquisition Projects.  Navy Commendation Medal, three awards. 12 years as Alaska Airlines commercial pilot. Also serves on Eastside Transportation Association, Rotary, Senior Services Volunteer. Past Multi-State Coordinator Prison Visitation Volunteers, and Women’s Crisis Clinic Counselor

Elected Experience: 41st District Republican Precinct Committee Officer, PTA President

Education:  B.S., Computer Science, Purdue University.  Graduate with Distinction, U.S. Navy Test Pilot School.

Family:  Bob lives on Mercer Island with his wife, Robin.  They have six children and two grandchildren.
